Skip Posted December 25, 2005 Share Posted December 25, 2005 auto: 94 Legacy GT wagon tranny: 4EAT AWD mileage: 210,00 circumstance: moderate left hand turns at speed noise: as subject says - only occasional read - not every time feeling: can be felt under foot and in steering wheel Guess: right front wheel bearing, CV or DOJ? nipper Posted December 25, 2005 Share Posted December 25, 2005 i would suspect the wheel bearing. CV joints are very predictable in the noise they make, clicking on hard turns being the most obvious. NoahDL88 Posted December 25, 2005 Share Posted December 25, 2005 I've had a CV joint shake the wheel. it was so bad it was dry and rusting on the inside. If it were me, and i had the time, if it is the bearings, i'd do both sides, and do a once over on the brakes. Of course, Skip, you knew that.
