fbh
Hi folks, When I start my '89 Subaru GL (carbed EA82) when its cold, it idles much too low, and sometimes dies. When it's ran for a while, or if I pump the accelerator a few times before starting, this doesn't happen and it idles normally. Where can I adjust what to fix this? am I right in thinking it has something to do with the auto choke? Cheers!
hatchsub
I may be wrong but that sounds normal to me. Most carbed cars need a few good pumps in the morning to get them going good. I know that mine wont start if i dont pump it a few times when its cold outside. I figure just the nature of the beast.
