tailgatewagon Posted January 3, 2006 Share Posted January 3, 2006 ok i was at my buddys shop and he showed me a wheel on a new subaru 06 and it was 114.? so this means we cant run the 06+ wheels on our old 5 lug swaped cars,,, can anybody confirm this..... simple monkey Posted January 3, 2006 Share Posted January 3, 2006 the new stis have 5 x 114.3, i think the 2.5 rs still have the 5 x 100 though. i think it was in 04 when the sti started to have the 5 x 114.3 due to torque problems or something like that. there are still some good wheels out there, none with really good offset that i've seen, but you can stack wheel spacers. DerFahrer Posted January 3, 2006 Share Posted January 3, 2006 The SVX's and 05-06 STi's have the 5 X 114.3 wheels. The 04 STi's had the 5 X 100, with all other new-gen Soobies. They made up the reason that there were more wheel options for the 5 X 114.3 than the 5 X 100, so that's why they switched. Or so I've heard. Dumb huh?
