Conker Posted October 8, 2003 Share Posted October 8, 2003 subyluvr2212 ill let you know how the install goes , thought it will probably go easyier for me as i work at University Motors as a AutoMotive Technition , so im going to install the shifter bushings at work. bushbasher As for the Trouble shifting where you it could be Shifter bushings , Could also be shift linkage , The Clutch might not be engageing all the way makeing it more diffucult to shift gears , could be any of those things , im not too experienced with subarus Yet , but will be before long. DerFahrer Posted October 8, 2003 Share Posted October 8, 2003 Ahh so you can put the car up on a lift... you suck:D Plus yours is 2WD which will probably make it a cinch... Bushbasher, if you have trouble shifting, loosen up your clutch cable, that will move the disengagement point up higher. bushbasher Posted October 9, 2003 Share Posted October 9, 2003 the clutch can't be the problem, it engages/disengages in the first few inches of travel. If you rest your foot on it it seems to slip.
