meprntr1
This may sound stupid but I am new to ABS & how do you know when it is kicking in? Will the ABS light come on? Had snow up my way & didn't know if my ABS was working or not?
RallyKeith
Usually you'll feel a vibration in the brake pedal and the pedal will all of the sudden go down towards the floor a little more.
97OBW
my subarus ABS kinda stinks, it seems like it pump VERY slow...and that why i hit a curb, and needed a new left rear suspension

NoahDL88
ABS is not designed to stop you quicker, its designed to keep your wheels from locking up, so you can maintain control as you deccelerate, as opposed to plowing. Of course, ABS, AWD and a multitude of other letters can't stop you from being 16.
Hodaka Rider
My abs aren't as ripped as I'd like them to be, but I'm not willing to put a lot more work into it. Oh wait . . . you're talking about brakes.
