cptjas
Have an 05 WRX with 18" Tarmacs and Falkens. Lowered using Tein springs and now there is a "pop" when a hard right hand turn is made that sounds like it is coming from behind my drivers side front wheel. It does make the care a bit loose in the curves during the "pop". It always happens in a hard righty. Any suggestions on fixing this? Legacy777
Did you install them, or did someone else install them? There is a cone shape washer that goes between the upper spring seat and mount. If that is left off or installed incorrectly, the spring seat will not pivot freely on the bearing in the mount. That's where I'd start.
blitz
I get the same pop in the same spot on my '02 OBS when turning the wheel right, except that it happens when straightening out after having made a sharp left turn. I have no idea what's causing it.
FirstSubaruGLwagon
3 posibiltys mentioned to me once about that. 1 steering rack tie-down bushings bad ( i'm sure there is a better name for it) 2 rubbing of tire against wheel well under heavy steering 3 change of CV joint pitch, pressure or position due to suspesion upgrade I'm sure there are like 20 other posibilties:grin:
