Sweet82
This is what came out my exhaust:confused: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=9699&sort=1&cat=500&page=1 I'm not sure if it's something a rodent stashed in my muffler or if its the remains of my nuked emission reed valve? This is from Mad Max, 84 GL. Max had not been started in several months. Max is running poorly/rich since it nuked the emission valve thingy. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=7862&sort=1&cat=500&page=2 This exhaust crap it blew out looks like fiber glass or toasted grass? Did I just cook a family of mice or did I nuke something on the car.

Ross
Looks like glass from a muffler - those small sausage shaped ones.
northguy
Looks like fiberglass packing, an item often used in cheap exhaust systems. How's your car sound? Loud?

BoostedBalls
looks like fiberglass packing from a muffler. I've seen that after a real good backfire from my first car. 1980 Chevette!
edrach
It looks like a mouse tried building a nest in your exhaust while Max was sitting.
