Front strut Q's

Recommended Posts

Well...with cartrige stuts, when I do my lift I can make my oun NEW body for them insted of strut spacers. AND I can make the new body to use coil-over springs insted of the factory springs. The new body could be made from MUCH stronger stock than the OE units.

I measured a ea-82 strut tube at just over 2.0". You might be able to just cut off the botton section of tube with the bracket and use an insert type cartridge, designed for coilover applications, inserted into the resulting "cup".

if you are using ea82 struts, you will need to modify the ea81 strut cap to fit them.

ir try getting ea82 knuckles to fit on the ea81 strut?

or do the whole ea82 lower control arm/axle/knuckle/strut swap, using xt 5lug and swaybar!

Uhhh....thanks for the input Fox, but I am working on an EA82T wagon(gess I should have made that more clear:-p )

I gess if I need to I could just make the new body to use cartrige struts from somthing other than EA82.
