Jerry DeMoss
Hi, as the title says I would like to have anyone comment that has ran dual webers on their ea81.I am looking for info pertaining to jetting and fitment of the carbs.I have read earlier posts about people that have done it but I would like details.I would like to see a good starting point for jetting. Also I have read that some people have turned their webers sideways to accomadate the extra room needed for another carb.Anyone have pictures? Also needed is adapter plates if anyone has some used ones.Or even if you have another weber give me a shout. Thanks in advance for the info. mcbrat
in the ea81 dual carb set-up, the hitachi carb mounts are too close together to use the stock weber adapters. custom adapters would be needed to add at least another inch to the spacing so that 2 webers (32/36) will fit... I don't know of any other webers that there is a soob adapter for.... I think a smaller type of weber carb would be better... as 2 of the 32/36's will be like running my Holley 600 lot's 'o fuel....not enough air pump action.....
