zyewdall
So, I put the complete exhaust system (headers all the way back) from a loyale on my friends '87 GL a few months back. Apparently, it hangs a little differently, because the pipe coming out of the back of the muffler was pointed up a little too high, and the hot exhaust coming out melted a hole all the way through the plastic bumper. I welded a downturned tip on there yesterday, but I just thought it was funny when she asked me if I knew why the bumper was melting.... thought I'd share it. Sorry, no picture. NoahDL88
That happens to most EA-82's even with the stock muffler, at least the ones i've seen.
WoodsWagon
I believe it was corky that had an rx with the bumper all sagged down on that side from the heat.
Len Dawg
I've noticed every loyale has a melted rear bumper, mine has one lol! But for the rare far and few in between I've seen a couple and I mean a couple that do not lol!
DaveT
I only had one do that, forgot what the cause of the muffler / tail pipe being out of position was, but it was due to something not correct about the end / angle of the tail pipe.
