Now before I show you the picture of it, I gotta tell the story...

I went with Hondasucks to go pick up my wagon a few months ago from the guy I traded my 83 hatchback to. The only way to get it home was to drive it and the guy said it drove just fine. It took a few minutes for the battery to get enough juice to fire and when it did, it had this funny knocking type sound but it wasn't a rod or a main or anything I've ever heard. I pulled out of the guys driveway and it was running just fine except for the knock. I was able to get it home with no problems and of course I decided to reseal the motor. Well today I pulled the heads off to put new head gaskets on and I was pulling out the pushrods and the exhaust pushrod on the #4 cylinder was bent, like it was f***ed up badly:banghead: So now I gotta go buy 8 new pushrods or see if someone has an extra one. Needless to say I'm:madder: :madder: :madder: :madder: right now:temper:

well everything in the head is fine working order, and I'm thinking about tearing into the block to see what I can see. Sorry Junkie, we already looked at the EA81 pushrods. They're too long and they seem to be smaller around too. I'll keep some updates:banghead:

well Adam I'm pretty sure my valves aren't bent so I'm guessing they went awhile without being adjusted. GLCraigGT, I'll try and get ahold of them on Tuesday and see if I can get a full set of pushrods cause if I'm gonna replace one, I might as well replace them all.

there should be pushrods in there.... remember that crate of stuff I got from SubaruSyndrome Andrew?? I belive it had a pushrod or 2 in it :banana:
