blownbimer
I have an 84 Turbo wagon, and It has the spoked wheels. What color should I paint them? Bright white? or kinda an off white? or was body colored an option? Thanks Erik
wesley willis
off white would look best.
Flowmastered87GL
I prefer gloss white unless you want to color match em to the car. Either way looks pretty good. Black can look ok, but only on some colored cars.

burtonsnowman
Black. Black. Black. Matte black. Then paint the car camouflage. Shadow Grass camo.
75subie
after you paint them, you should buy some chrome trim rings, it will make the wheels look ten times better, plus it hides flaws in the paint.
mudduck
Black.Black. Black. Matte black. Then paint the car camouflage. Shadow Grass camo. Black is good. Or white. And who wants those crome rings? They just get knocked off from rocks and stuff.

They just get knocked off from rocks and stuff. well thats because you get the junk ones, i get the ones where you have to wrestle them on for like 5 mins a piece:lol: i put them on all my wagon wheels and love the looks and performance increase they make:grin: never had even 1 fall off while wheeling
beauregaardhooligan
I like the way my '84 wagon looks with black wheels and tan/gold body. Black doesn't show the brake dust either. I've always wanted to see one done up like a JohnDeere though. Bright green body with school-bus yellow wheels and bumpers! Nothing runs like a Subaru! blownbimer
Gona go for gloss white I think....I have the chrome rings/ center caps for it...I'll polish them and put em on! Thanks Erik
Caboobaroo
or go with a carbon fiber color. My friend had an '89 GL sedan with wagon wheels and he painted them this carbon fiber color. It looked sweet. He also did the hood that color since it came off of another vehicle. His sedan was about the same color as your wagon.
