rllywgn Posted February 2, 2006 Share Posted February 2, 2006 from what i understand, its supposed to make your car run like its cold all the time, they usually plug into your temp sensor and create a signal that makes the car "seem" cold. hope that made some sense i know theres others out there but the cheapies usually just hijack/alter the signal.. your just tricking your computer.. rllywgn Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
nkx Posted February 3, 2006 Share Posted February 3, 2006 dont waste your money, it will just hurt your car more than anything. not to mention kill your fuel milage. chances are this "chip" is just a resistor you can buy at radio shack (10 in a pack for $1.99, iirc) thats just marked up to profit from the not-so-car-savvy.
