Ross
Seach should have come up with heaps - here and on retrofitting forum.... Anyway, Nissan 280 injectors work, and i hear EVO 8&9 ones do to if you're after heaps of fuel..
Guest shadow
Larger won't be your only concern, you will also need to make sure they are E85 compatible, which is much more difficult to source. E85 injectors are made mostly of stainless steel and also have ethanol compatible seals internally. Normal injectors will leak and/or corrode after time due to the material incompatibility. The entire fuel system must be made from components that are 'ethanol compatible', and you must be sure not to have any dissimilar metals in the system as e85 will cause material migration at a much faster rate. You should ideally have a (compatible) plastic or stainless tank, e85 compatible rubber hose sections, stainless hardline, stainless fuel manifold/rails, and a compatible fuel pump and fuel level sending unit to run 85. To make it safe and reliable it takes a lot of work to do a full e85/e100 car conversion, I have done a good deal of research into it. Some of the best resources are from the universities that participated in a challenge of sorts to convert cars over to ethanol use. Cold starting is another thing you will have to overcome.
