The page no longer exists on the server, did anyone happen to copy or backup the data anywhere? Tycho Posted February 6, 2006 Share Posted February 6, 2006 You know, that crimp on top cap part does not need to go back on the lifters once you've cleaned them. That's cheap & easy. -=Russ=- Thats what i'd usually do, but im putting my EA82T back together and the lifters have been sitting out for weeks with no oil. I dont want to just put them back in. Hondasucks Posted February 7, 2006 Share Posted February 7, 2006 Submerge them in a coffee can with enough oil in there (MMO works, or mix MMO with motor oil) and submerge each one under the oil, and pump the lifter (if it won't pump, that's fine, means there is oil in it) That's what I did when I redid the heads on the turbowagon before WCSS6, no tick...
