WagonsOnly Posted February 17, 2006 Share Posted February 17, 2006 Going by our very own Specs page: -carbed 2bbl Hitachi, on an '85 DL sedan will do 82hp@4800rpm, 101ft-lbs of torque@2800rpm -MPFI on an '85 GL-10, 94hp@5200rpm, same torque as the carbed car -MPFI Turbo, c. 1985, will do 111hp@4800rpm and 134 ft-lbs of torque@2800. -MPFI Turbo 1987 & later is good for 115 hp, same torque as earlier. -SPFI engines generate 90hp and, once again, 101 ft-lbs of torque at 4800 and 2800 rpms respectively. Driving my EA81 around at 11,000 feet elevation, I figured it was down to about 50HP (assuming it could still produce the stock 72 HP at sea level, with 220k miles....
