Are all turbo GL's 3.7 auto or manual and all non turbo GL's 3.9 auto or manual? And is there a stamp or lable on the transmission that tell u the gear ratio for the front diff? But you can look at the rear diff, because it's matched to the trans. I got the 5-spd tranny and diff off of a car in a JY. The diff was a 3.9. On the console there was a diff lock switch but this was not a locking diff. The car had alot of new parts on it so I think someone put the wrong diff in it and junked it because it wasn't workin out, but I am not sure. I bet you a million dollars this car was in the junkyard because someone put a 3.9 in it and couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. It only had 100,000 miles on it, 4 new axles, new alt, all of the fluids looked like they were just changed, and alot of other stuff.
