legacy93ATL
this is my girlfriends car, and my first post. 93 legacy 4WD Like my title says, looking for a shop in Atlanta to replace the clutch or is this a job I could do myself? I change engines on aircooled VW's once I did the clutch on an 88 Golf. where are the recommended parts places? online, mail order or local import shop. someone recommended the "exidy" kit. the car is making a BAD gravelly noise all the time when clutch is NOT engaged. Engaging clutch stops the noise. also it's starting to slip bad, I'm telling her it's TIME before she gets stranded on the side of the road. any help welcome. also a link to the step by step procedure or if anyone could write one up quick I would be grateful. like--about the anti-dive bone thing, how many bolts to remove where, etc. what is the recommended shop manual? I think I have the tools I need, unless there are any special tools required--are there??
