What make & model tires do you have on your suby?

Recommended Posts

I used the mich original equip that came on my 99 OBW, Pirelli scorpion ST(discontinued), and goodyear indy 500s. I liked the pirellis the best.\ I do not reccomend the indys!

On my 99 legacy l sedan we had the original 92s, A discontinued bridgestone that was very simmilar to the 950s, and now have BFgoodrich traction ta. I really like the traction ta.

It does not snow here so your results may vary.

I ran Firestone winterforce 225/60/16 last winter on my 03 BAJA and they were awesome!!! Good on road/off road. Also, I was wondering, for all you baja owners out there....have you ever used anything other than the stock tire size on your sube? I am looking to maybe go up ONE size (better off road tire availability)...but am unsure of clearance (doesnt look like much extra room to me) Any feedback?

Just wondering what other owners use as shoes on their subies- 99 obw- Firestone Affinity LH30- a good all weather, high mile tire.

Bridgestone Potenza RE-92 205/55-16. on a 98 GT wagon. Perfect match for the car and last about 40,000 miles. This is my 3rd set.

It's not the point. re92 are poor tires and many people get rid of them after less than 1k miles.
I dunno. No complaints here!

Pretty good on dry pavement, good in rain and good in the snow (but AWD helps). .

I do not advise picking tires based on positive reviews on tirerack, but I would definitely run away from tires that have that many poor reviews.

And remember, AWD does not improve traction, it just helps manage the traction you already have.
