seattlelegacy
My 84 desperately needs the timing done... does anyone in the seattle area have a timing gun I can borrow, or know where I can rent one? Since every car I have ever owned has had electronic ignition, I'm also wondering if it may just be worth my time to buy one. I noticed harbor freight has them for like 12 bucks, but I've been to TWO of their stores, and they're always out of them. Jordan
85Sub4WD
sorry, misread your post edited um - best suggestion would be to look at a yardsale/flea market - i think advance wants $30+ for them
Spiffy
too bad you're not local or you could use mine... I got mine off craigslist for like $10... worked great last time I used it... craigslist or yard sales might be a good bet, but you might want to test it before you leave with it... harbor freight is usually cheap, but cheap quality too... not sure if their timing gun would have the same lifetime warranty that their tools have... --Spiffy
