Yeah..i just done it recently and it's easy...just make sure thats theres not alot of rust and remove the bolts that connect to the converter...you will need two tools,1 A rachet with a socket and a wrench and after you do that clean the area with a wire brush and if need use a razor blade to get the rest and insert donut gasket put bolts back on and you set. Jerry DeMoss
Also spray the nuts and bolts on the exhaust parts you are about to remove with plenty of PB Blaster.Let it soak in for a few minutes and then go to work.Makes taking it apart and assembly alot easier. idosubaru
i'd get a look at the bolts, on the ones i've done the bolts are rusted terribly and it's easier to install new bolts than try to reuse the old ones. other than that it's super easy, just annoying working from under the car. unbolt two bolts, clean up, install new gasket and two bolts with nuts and you're done. bgd73
If bolts break, be sure to get "flange bolts" as replacement. There really is a design exactly for that purpose to maintain the spring pressure and movements necessary(ironically i just bought a set of two today for a rather expensive 7 bucks and change). I found a number 10.something on the top, must be very high grade for heat and pressure.
