cjm
I have a 98 forester that I have owned for 3 years. The best gas milage I have ever gotten was on a long freeway drive, where I averaged about 20mpg. I normally do only city driving and get about 16-17mpg (which seems bad). I recently checked my milage and now find I average about 15mpg - which seems awful! I had a tune up within the last year and new tires within the last 6 months. When I originally purchased the car I replaced the air filter with some special filter that was supposed to improve the milage (can't remember the name offhand), the best I ever got was 17 mpg. Any suggestions? Thanks
