A Subaru Isuzu?? Slight 56K Warning

Recommended Posts

Pardon me if this has been found/discussed before. Glancing about the Japanese Subaru sites I came up with this little gem. The "Isuzu Geminett-II" apparently! In the 70s and 80s in Australia, we had the Holden (Isuzu) Gemini's but they were nothing like Subarus.

Looks like all they did was change name badges and emblems - thats it.

Success!

I don't plan to sell the brochure, however I am happy to scan the pages for you once it has been received

Who should I harass to get them put on the board. I can host them for a while I guess.

Well the fellow was good enough to send the scans through to me. There appears to be sod all difference between normal Subaru EA82s and this Isuzu one - It appears to be a 1600cc (EA71?) motor and dual range - with some badge differences on the back, on the side strips, and on the steering wheel centre.

The brochure is in Japanese - but if rllywgn or someone wishes to host it still, I can send them on.

Is there a central place for brochures? I have some EA82 brochures - some US, some Japanese (in english) if there is any interest.

actually my mg also has fender mirrors, they are nice because you dont have to look away from whats ahead of you to see whats behind. Also, the blind spots are less.

Yeah, my dads '61 MG midget has fender mirrors but my '75 midget has standard door mirrors. I am thinking of converting.

also the mention of the Aska, that was a 1st gen legacy clone.
