Uberoo
Im gonna fab up a bar out of 3/16" flat stock.should make a decent light bar.My question is this:Should I mount the rack to the rear of the cab(standard pickup offroad light position) or at the leading edge of the cab for better lighting? I plan on putting four rectanglar lights on top and have a tab behide the lights(2X3X3/16 tab) in the middle right behind the lights as a place to mount the CB antenna(have to get job and get it running first). so should I mount to the front of cab or rear edge of cab? Zefy
alright here is what i found... if you have them near the front then light shines on the hood and windshield and you can't see diddly... there are two ways to fix this... either cover up the bottom portion of the light with electrical tape or something to stop the light from shining on the hood... or you could do what i did and move the rack to the back of the cab... works good... be sure to post pics when you're done! 86 BRAT
flat stock might flex to much, try square tube instead. if you don't want the light coming thru the fun tops put a flat sheet about 4" or 6" inches long under the light facing fwd (a shade if you will).
