jonas
my '84 wagon has a problem when pulling hills or i really need to put the pedal to it. i get some cutting out and loss of power. other than that it drives fine on freeway/town driving. i've replaced plugs/wires/cap/rotor/rebuilt carby trying to figure this one out. still no luck. i've checked my vacume hoses and routing. still no luck so now i'm going the fuel delivery route. i just got the wagon so i have no idea when the filters were last changed. any thoughts? azsubaru
Sounds like a fuel problem to me - any chance there's water in the tank?
85Sub4WD
check the vacuum advance mechanism on the disty - they tend to get stuck, and if it is stuck, it will cause problems when the engine is under load
