jeffast Posted April 18, 2006 Share Posted April 18, 2006 ok i'm getting ready to buy a junk er27 to swap into my xt-6 as my current engine let the number 5 rod com out the top the questions are the one in the junk yard is auto will my flywheel bolt up correctly also i was told that i would throw my engine out of balance if i bolted my flywheel to this engine is there any truth to this finally any reccomended cheap maintance before the engine goes into the car? thanks -jeff Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Jerry DeMoss Posted April 18, 2006 Share Posted April 18, 2006 Hey Jeff did you find an engine?How many miles does this one have?I would definately say do the timing belts and also cam seal as said before.And if you can do your water pump first before install since that is a pain as you showed me.
