simjason
I'm looking for a gen 1 brat, preferably in good running order. Prefer cars within reasonable driving distance from Akron, Ohio, but will travel further for the right car. Stock or lifted. Prefer clean cars; will pay cash. So, if you have one you want to part with (regardless of condition) let me know! Thanks, J
75subie
how much are you looking to spend?
simjason
how much are you looking to spend? That really depends on the condition of the vehicle. I'm thinking in the $1k-$2k range, but would spend more on the right car.

simjason
No worries. Do what you need to. In the meantime, if you have some more pics/info on the car, I'd appreciate it. Please include interior and engine bay shots, if possible. Particularly interested in it's mechanical condition. Have you done any work to it in that respect? Would it be a candidate to make an 8 hour trip back to Ohio? Also, do you still have the bumpers, grille logo, and other factory parts that you removed, and are they going with the car? Thanks, J
75subie
i have the bumpers. i have the factry grill emblem, but the 3rd headlight has a emblem on its flip away door(its way cooler than the stock grill). the interior needs work, a dash cover, door panels, and carpet. the tires are brand new, the wheels are very rare late 70s mag rims. it has the jumpseats. it runs great after its warmed up (about 10 mins) the tranny shifts very well, clutch is strong. i haven`t driven it all that much, so i can`t say for sure of its capabilities. it probly would make the trip fine, but that is up to you. it did drive very well in the distance i have driven it. if you might be interested, i have a high compression ea71 engine i can work into the deal, this would have alot more power than a standard ea71
