How much taller can I make my OBS with out a "lift kit"?

Featured Replies

I'll tell ya how much.

96 Legacy Outback struts/springs plus 225/55/17s add about 5.5 inches in the rear, 3 in the front.

looks awesome, has a slight "tilt" to it? got a picture of the entire car?

where did the rear disc brakes come from?

i have three OBS and all have drums.

why'd you go with the outback suspension instead of the forester? that's probably why you have that tilt.

how much does that poped hood add to the height?? :)

More lift. The fuel gage was on absolute "E" when I took that. With a full tank and gear and dogs, it sits nice.

Hood's not popped, the front left is just a little banged up from before I bought it. . .

Anyways, here's your full body shot. lol

She hasn't driven it yet. Everything's new(ish) on it. Full 60k, and it's only got 84k. She would be the third owner, second bought it from Carter used in 98.

I told her we can take the seats out of her car and swap them into the new one so it'll feel the same. :D;)

Weee bit of a rough idle, but I'll iron it out.

That looks great. I wish there was a cheap way I could lift my legacy outback

Tail-to-tail, nose-to-nose . . . nice graphic presentation, Zapar! Thanks.
