Does anyone know if an 88 Subaru GL Wagon Engine (1.8 V) will fit in a 91 Subaru? I need to get rid of an 88 Subaru GL and a prospective buyer has a 91 Subaru, but he's unsure if the engine will fit.

If the 91 Subaru is a Loyale, yes. if its a legacy, it wouldn't be worth the trouble to put it in.

Great, thanks for the info. The prospective buyer has indicated that he has a Loyale, so looks like it will work for him.
