jeffast Posted May 9, 2006 Share Posted May 9, 2006 i'm installing the timing belts on my xt-6 how do i make sure that i'm not putting them on 180 degrees out also where is the timing mark on the crank gear located also just to make sure i have this straight point the timing mark on one came straight up along with the crank gear timing mark then rotate the crank 180 degrees so the other side lines up then install right Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

After reading everyone else's posts about timing belts... On the flywheel (when you look through the hole) there should be a spot with three lines. Line up the middle line with the pointer.
