Dickensheets
Did a search on 4eat shuddering straight ahead on takeoff. Found a few threads on this. Someone mentioned using an anti-shudder additive to de-varnish the internals. Anyone else tried this? btw - 97 obw 4eat, 108,000 miles. rd
lmdew
I'd go for the system flush first!

Shuddering going straight ahead is indicative of mis matched tires. Check your tires, make sure they are all inflated the same. make sure they are the same age and size. Put the FWD fuse in and see if it goes away. If it goes away then do a flush. If it doesnt we may have to trouble shoot it a bit deeper. NEVER use anything that is going to de-gum the transmission (or any part of the driveline for that matter). That gum is helping to hold the seals together. nipper
