michlcamp
Working on my son's '89 XT - rear brake lines are rusted through where they come down from under the back seat - after I took out the back seat I see that they run from there all the way to the front of the car (I haven't looked to see where they hook up - I'm assuming the master cylinder) - I haven't taken the bad lines out yet. Can anyone tell me tonight how long these lines are (5-6 feet?) and the size of the threaded fittings (10mm?) - I either have to replace the whole line from front to back or piece in a couple of new "patch" lines (doubleflared of course) - if I can find out tonight I can buy them instead of make them and don't have to drive 20 miles to get the old ones off first, or if replacing the whole line is a lot more trouble, please advise.. Also wish I could find those specs or a diagram somewhere. thanks in advance.. mc

ShawnW
If braided lines are available I would go that route.
