randomizer
Is anyone missing a blue ea81 gl wagon in the greater seattle area? Someone seems to have abandoned one in the parking lot of my work. I thought I'd post this just in case someone had it stolen or something. It looks in decent shape but it has been sitting there since about last Friday. Buick350X
Check the local laws out. If it is stolen the police will haul it away but just abandoned you can keep it after 30 days. I got a Escort like that one. Was a stolen car but it had been writen off and wasn't wanted anymore. Ran good, stirpped it for parts. Was a same sort of deal, someone left it in the side lot of a buddies yard. Wasn't stolen so cops didn't care what happened to it.
Sweet82
Has it got plates? I've seen many a car I though was abandoned until the license plates were run. Then things start to make sense? If it does, have some law enforcement buddy run them and see if that helps explain why it's there. Is there a pool of antifreeze, oil, tranny fluid under it? Could have broke down? The mystery deepens.....

Hank Roberts
Yeah, our local police say always use a steering wheel lock ("Club") with older cars, that the regular joyriders and serious thieves have a handful of keys nowadays that will open and start almost any 1980s Japanese car. And there's not even a search bulletin if your car's stolen -- if it turns up being ticketed for sitting somewhere that's the first time it matches up in the system with theft reports. Nobody looks for it.
manxsta
Yeh its becoming common place for most low income earner,s..just leave it there til your next welfare check comes in..then pick it up with a gallon of fuel.....drive it till it runs out ..then go again next cheque( or 2 weeks down the track) its like warranty..whichever comes first...
