Petersubaru
I need a pair of rack bellows(boots) for my 86 loyale with manual steering...I have checked several web sites and also phoned the subaru dealer only to find out the boots are no longer available thru them for cars with manual steering ...no problem getting them if I have PS
GeneralDisorder
EA82's with manual steering are RARE. Just get a generic bellows kit - it will work fine. GD
SOOBOUTLAW
JC Whitney has a universal kit that slides over the tie rods. Never tried em, just browsed through the catalog.
Special Fred
I've seen some universal ones at Autozone that I'm sure would work...

jacobs
I purchased two new boots for my 86 manual steering from Subaru about three months ago. You might want to try a different Subaru dealer.
Tcat55371
I'm the guy that just replaced the rack. I still have it but the boots are bad. The rack is still good, I just wanted to put power steering back on mine and since the motor was out I figured it was a good time to do it. john
Petersubaru
maybe I will not worry about the boots and just let it be ...I have a couple of complete PS units and eventually install one myself...sounds like a good idea........... Loyale 2.7 Turbo
Also, you can go with one of those boots, to search for replacement at parts stores or junk yards... About five years ago, I replaced those boots on a friend´s loyale DL ... I took one to the Parts shop, and they come with one pair of slighty different ones, but with same size in the contact area, and they fit good the soob. They claim those were for a Toyota Tercel... but they are in a Soob now, and still workin´ fine! Maybe is good Idea to Try search for similar ones. GLCraig
It looks like the SOA Part number is 31232GA040. My source also shows a 31232GA082 but Legacys and Imprezas are also listed with that number so I'm guessing this is the boot for the power rack.
