MachineAgeVictim
yeah I don't need the money, but I'm limited on the number of cars I can own and this would get me going on my hatch project

MachineAgeVictim
well it will start when I sell a car, whether it be my Buick or wagon (more than likely the buick) basicly a rally car with a 4wd hatch base, LSD, 14's, rally tires, widen the stance a bit, roll cage, MSD ignition, eventually a 2.2 swap (when I blow the motor ) I'd like to be ably to do some climbing with it, so I'll stick with the stock adjustable height, lower it for a race, lift it for playing

Ever Victorious
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Don't do it! Puleez! You'll regret it if you do! Seriously, you will. I'd easily give up $2,000 to have my DL sedan back... it was so pimp, and so unusual.
Zefy
don't do it! i've been offered money many times... they usually shoot for 1500-2500 bucks... the odd 3500 too... the most i've ever been offered was 7000... however i didn't trust the guy (at all) and i figured he most likely didn't have the money... SakoTGrimes
Think of it this way: if you sell it and want another one down the road you might have to shell out $3K for one in like shape.

Think even higher,I believe. I sold a '76 automatic 2door sedan with 37k on it that now sits restored in Sweden for $2,000 a few years ago. His car looks just as solid and just as shiny.Maybe his interior isn't near museum quality like the one we had,but it looks plenty acceptable. I really regret having to sell that one.Regret not trying a miracle salvage on the '75 4WD wagon...and regret not tucking the '76 GF Coupe away instead of crushing it (56k car!) .....ouch. Oh,yes Andrew,I still regret selling you the '75 too.....you knew that. At least you western folks have a much easier time finding them than we do here. But it's the time now that all the old lady cars will be exposed. You can't let these low mileage beauties go by from this point on. TheSubaruJunkie
Honestly... if someone offered me $2g's for a Gen1, i'd have to jump on it. Not many people will be willing to offer you that much, and when you do decide to sell it (if the time ever comes) you'll be hard pressed to find a buyer, and may turn out kicking yourself for passing up this deal. Of course, that is a very sweet wagon. Very pristine and it would take alot to pry it from my cold dead hands. -Brian

Anyhow, sorry to see about your car getting broken into again.Good luck with it.
