EA82 2 Piece Driveline --> Lifted Ea81

Who's running an ea82 2 piece driveline in their lifted rigs? I've heard bad things about getting vibration when the driveline is not set at the correct angle and was told a 1 piece would be better. I'd like to get a 2 piece though so I'd be able to get it up and out of the way. Pros Cons? Thanks.

Welding up the carrier bearing is the hitch. In a Brat, there isn't enough stout metal to weld to. I'm running the 1 piece, and have had no trouble. But then again, you may be running places I don't want to take my Brat (yet).

I have done it both ways. My hatch had a two piece. I had it made with larger diameter tubing for the back half and servicable u-joint as well. Matt is right about it being a little difficult to weld the mount for the carrier bearing but it is doable. It does get it out of the way but not by that much.

you know i just made brackets ,and bolted it to the tunnel.i also flipped the carrier bearing upside down.that gave me a tad more clearance there as well.i have driven it alot ,even road trips with 70+ on the freeway for long distances....and have had no problems.very little vibration at all.i just centered it in the tunnel with the simple design of the brackets.:grin:
