What kind of lugnuts/washers do I need? (pug)

Recommended Posts

What kind of "holding-wheel-onto-car-device" do I need for a set of these peugeot steel wheels?? They have an odd curve to them on the mating surface that prevents you from using standard lugnuts... And concerning that - anyone have any... I'll pay going (or better) price. :burnout:

there are steel wheels that look like these but have a "conventional" tapered area that centers the lug nut. the countour of where the lugnut seats on my wheels is like someone drilled a hole in the middle of a pringles potato chip. so the lugnut only seats on the inner and outter edge of the hole and does not contact the wheel on the "sides". Do we have the same wheel??? If so, I guess I'll give'er another shot... it just didnt fee right to me when I test-fitted them.

are your lugnuts flat or tapered on the side that contacts the wheel?

It's extremely hard to tell from that pic, but if the holes on the pug are concave (bows in towards the brakes, not flat), then I suppose the lugnuts from an XT6 or other similar soob with recessed lugnuts (AKA hidden by a center cap) would work...

again, I can't tell from that pic.

you have there the less sought after 504 pugs steels(70's) later 504's were "normal". they take a special lugnut that had an oblong washer that centered the wheel. sorry, there are no aftermarket options for them.

you will have to find a set of 504 centering washer lugnuts. I haven't seen a set on the board for quite some time. you may wat to sneak onto a pug forum and try to get a set....
