rllywgn Posted June 17, 2006 Share Posted June 17, 2006 you need the custom type intake.. basically, ea82's don't have much for aftermarket support.. your best bet in some cases atleast is making your own.. depending on how your fuel is delivered (carb, spfi, mpfi, mpfi turbo) you'll need an adaptor for the MAF and tubing or just a cone filter with an adaptor. some toyota celica's and a few nissans share the same pattern for the intake adaptor. be creative and in some cases you'll save money good luck rllywgn Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you just wanna put a cone filter on you can with an adapter. 85-86 SPFI/MPFI/Turbo (flapper style maf) can fit with an older Toyota Celica adapter 87+ SPFI/MPFI/Turbo (Hotwire style maf) can fit with a Nissan 280sx adapter This is what I mean by just a cone filter.
