sketron13
So I need some power steering lines for a 98 legacy, which are $90 at the dealer because no j/y in Atlanta has Subarus. 91-94 legacies use a flare nut and fitting, while mine uses a banjo bolt. Will a 91-94 power steering pump bolt to my 98 block? Any help is appreciated!
Legacy777
It'll probably work, you may need to swap out the PS pump bracket that bolts to the engine, but I don't see why you couldn't do that.

Any help is appreciated! as long as they mate up at the rack it shold be ok. you may loose the speed sensing but i dont know if the valve for that is in the pump or the rack. nipper PS another option is taking the hoses to a hydraulic place and have them made Sometimes they are cheaper. lmdew
You can change over the fitting at the pump from one to the other. I've gone new to old on several 2.5 to 2.2 conversions. Pull the inner valve as well and change it along with the fitting.
