(1) Will an 1984 turbo wgn rear bumper fit onto my Brat?

my Brat one needs work and I am wondering if a turbo wgn one will fit till I get the Brat one fixed.

(2) has any one ever put xt 6 suspension into an Gen 2 style wgn, snd, hatch or Brat? (and what would I have to do to make it fit? )

No, they are quite a bit different.

It can be done, but it requires fab work to fit the XT6 knuckles into the existing struts, and the existing lower control arms, and requires custom axles be made as no axle exists in the correct length with the Legacy (XT6) style outer joint. Not a small job at all, and careful attention must be made to preserve correct camber.

thank you for that.

I have an unlimeted parts supply, for any year subaru (from 78 to 06) and can just about put any thing on my brat (as long as its subaru) I just don't know how easy it is. and I wanted to see if any one had done it and if it could be done simple like. lol ( I heard it was easy just change the tops) oh well I will take a look at it when work gets the xt 6 in.

Yah I know.

I keep looking at the turbo 04 forester motor on the floor by my work bench.

but I started this motor swap (carb to EA 81 turbo ) back in 96 and I just want to finish it. it went to the body shop for awhile .... along while.

and I kinda want to keep it stock and then I want to get another one and go nutz with it .......
