moosens
I found a guy holding some Koni shocks and inserts. Here's an idea of what he has below.I do want a set for my '73 coupe,so keep that in mind and you guys are welcome to pick thru the rest. Let me know what you want and I'll attempt the big lot buy, which he said would make it a great deal all around.as it is now,he wants a solid $49 per set for most models. In his stock: 1 pair of 2wd ('72-75) fronts-taken by me 2 pairs of 2wd ('76-79) fronts His suppliers has left: 2 pairs of '72-75 2wd rears -one set taken by me 1 pair of '76-79 rear for 2wd He also has some '80-84 pieces as well. Let ne know if you want what's left and hopefully we can work out a good deal with him.
DerFahrer
These won't work on 4WD's, I'm guessing?
moosens
I'll check, but he knows I have a 4wd wagon,so I have to think he'd have listed them.

moosens
New old stock. $49 per set of 2 as in set of front,or set of rear. Hoping to draw interest in whatever he has to make a better deal. I will check again about the 4WD,just give me a day or so.

moosens
I've held off just because I'm kind of cash poor right now and because I'd rather get the lot he has and save some money too. They aren't going anywhere,I'm sure.If you're really interested in getting them soon let me know.I'll pass along the guy's info or maybe break down and get my set(s) now. Kostamojen
I still need to know if they will work for the 4X4 models first Im fairly certain my rear struts are shot.
moosens
No,they sit lower, unless that's what you want. The guy has a limited stock but claims his supllier has more. Here's what he's said to me: Paul; It's good to hear from you.I have 1 pair of 1972-75 1400 2wd front inserts and 2 pairs of 1976-79 2wd front inserts. My supplier has a pair of rears for the 1972-79 2wd and 2 pairs of 1972-75 2wd fronts. Also, I have 1 pair each of the 1980-84 2wd & 4wd front inserts. They also fit the Hatchback to 1989 and maybe Brat. And I have 1 pair each of the sedan/coupe/hatchback rears and wagon rears. Shocks and inserts are $49 a pair plus shipping. I can make a deal on quantity. here's his email addy: charliet@ netreach.net But as you can see he'll make a deal for quantity....so,if you're ready to buy maybe we should get together and save some money.I was hoping we'd get some response here for the 2wd's. Kostamojen
If they are indeed "inserts" then they shouldnt sit that much lower, since ride height is mostly based on spring design... I wouldnt mind a lower ride height unless it makes the fronts sit lower than the rears As for the rears, are you sure they are inserts, or are they the whole strut? The rears are what i'm most concerned about getting replaced.
