LosDiosDeVerde86
has there been an consensus made about what ampreage fuse you're supposed to use for the FWD fuse box? it appears that my dutyC doesnt have power (i think a wire came apart from my Andyjo awd-4wd conversion switch) and i dont really want to drive around like that until i can take it to the garage on wednesday. firstwagon
I was told it was a 15 amp. I have never seen it listed officially anywhere though.

Suzam
You could try a 10 amp...if it blows you can always go higher
Andyjo
20A is what i've used and steve... Solder the ************ out of those wires.. you don't want those coming loose...

Wayne Boncyk
Correct - any old fuse will do. The Duty Solenoid C draws about 1.9 amps when it is engaged. There is a bit of a current inrush (i.e. transient spike) which is probably why Subaru recommends a 15 amp fuse, although I've used a 10 without blowing it for quite a while (nearly 2 years!!) in the past. SuBrat84
my svx fuse box says to use a 10. I usually go 15 though.. because that's what my Legacy said it was.
