Jerry DeMoss
Yes you can definately do it.Also yes you can swap the lights on a ea82 chassis body.I know DrKrazy has a nice set that would be perfect for that.
mikeshoup
DLs have the four headlight front end. However there were no turbo DLs. So, you'd have to switch the headlights.

jeffast
i like the look of that red one but clutch cables are a pain in the rump roast also it must be a 5spd edit: also i'm waiting on my next paycheck and i have to figure out what to do with the six because i'm not selling it
Jerry DeMoss
Honestly Jeff do you really need a turbo? Jeff+TurboEA82+LSD= Something crazy and possibly disasterous!
jeffast
Jeff+TurboEA82+LSD+rwd+td04+fmic+5lugswap+rearhandbrake+impreza clipers+boostcontroller= Something crazy and possibly disasterous! i helped make this accurate
mikeshoup
I sense a drifting wagon. Look at the $500 wagon. Clutch cables really aren't all that difficult compared to what you're planning to do.
jeffast
exactly thats why i like it but i'm waiting for my next pay check to come in so i can buy it
mikeshoup
In an earlier ad, he mentioned it needed a clutch cable, but turned out to be the clutch. So, I'd ask him about that. For $500 though, and even if you need to put in a clutch and a cable, not a bad deal. It'd give you a chance to put in an XT6 clutch, pp, and flywheel
Jerry DeMoss
So what tranny are you going to use Jeff?Rx type with the center lock diff or are you going the D/R route?
jeffast
d/r, the ft4wd diff lock can't cope with the additional strain of rwd maybe pushbutton for temp use but i really want d/r rwd
mikeshoup
If you get one with a FT4WD tranny, I'll give you the pushbutton out of mine + some cash for it.
