quailman
Well I have been driving around my town of about 8700 people for the last 3 weeks in my new silver 06 Baja thinking I had about the slickest and possibly somewhat unique car around when some guy pulled into the Sunoco station and climed out of a DeLorean, now I am somewhat humbled, I guess I really need to get one of those Classic Brats. QM:confused:
TheSubaruJunkie
Not even a Brat can beat a DeLorean. Those are some of the coolest cars around. -Brian
Jerry DeMoss
I have seen only one here in colorado driving on the road.Unmistakable shape/design.Makes me think of back to the future movies.

gbhrps
One more thing to say about the DeLorean .... Fiat motor ... underpowered.
subiefan
I think I'm still drooling. DeLoreans are amazing cars. Never seen one in person, though. I'd love to have one. Alas, I am poor. They're reliabily track record isn't so good, so I think I'll stick to my Subies. Plus...who wants to steal an ol' Subaru.
dbarber
One more thing to say about the DeLorean .... Fiat motor ... underpowered. I always thought it was a Renault engine. A friend of mine had one in the mid 80's. Horribly underpowered, and VERY expensive to have work done.
mattocs
Yeah, you got pwnd. I do love the Baja, but, Delorian is by far one of the coolest cars.
fastwgn286
peugout-renault-volvo engine source:http://www.delorean-owners.org/legend/index.html they were interesting cars, just sorta pointless being sleek and underpowered at the same time. but it must be cool to clean the body using a wire brush or brillo pads and not worry about scratching the paint:grin:
ericem
The delorean is a peice off crap, atleast the Baja will never ever break down. He is probaby pushing that delorean, u should feel better u own a faster more reliable vehicle. ANd plus if u get some bigger tires u can run over him

andrew.anderson
One more thing to say about the DeLorean .... Fiat motor ... underpowered. That's because you need to get the one from Back to the Future 2. If I remember correctly it was powered by a flux capacitor. Or was it just fueled by one? Gnuman
That's because you need to get the one from Back to the Future 2. If I remember correctly it was powered by a flux capacitor. Or was it just fueled by one? Powered by a fusion reactor. Flux capacitor was a control device. Did anyone else notice the similarity between the windows on the Delorean and the SVX? BruceyWV
For the same reason, to have curved windows but still have a piece of it roll down. Funny neither one of those suceeded, although John Delorean's story is an interesting one if any of you ever catch it on History Channel. Also, I think Deloreans are nice cars. Practical Reliable and Fast? Not so much. All the people that say they're slow should look up any other car of that era. The corvette was nearly a 16 second car. I blame emissions. jasinwa
Get an SVX and you'll be close in the "head turning" contest!
Manarius
Powered by a fusion reactor. Flux capacitor was a control device. Did anyone else notice the similarity between the windows on the Delorean and the SVX? No no no. The car is powered by ordinary gasoline(See movie number 3). The fusion reactor powers the flux capacitor, which makes time travel possible (see movie 1). Yes, I see the resemblence. Remember, the Delorean came out first, and came out of America :-p
fastwgn286
nope. delorean himself was american, but the car was made in northern ireland. lots of problems with the stainless body getting soot and stuff on it when the darn thing didn't sell, and backed up factory production
