I was talking with my sponsor a few weeks ago and he said he could have them (or anything you want) made if he could get an order of 10-100. I'm not trying to hijack the other thread, but I thought there was little interest (less than 10) in CF hoods with a WRX scoop. So assuming the price is affordable and reasonable how many people are interested? If you are please post at the bottom of your replay: +1 EA82T or EA81 Thanx Korean Hood (EA82) 1. Korean 2. nkx Posted July 4, 2006 Share Posted July 4, 2006 the problem with the hood scoop is these cars came non-intercooled. so the ic'ed people who want the scoop for the functionality wont necessarily get good airflow through the ic due to a wide variety of intercoolers and plumbing. Caboobaroo Posted July 4, 2006 Share Posted July 4, 2006 I'd take a EA82 hood with a section from an WRX/STi hood where the scoop bolts to it sinec I'm in the process of getting a carbon fiber STi scoop. eddygordouk Posted August 31, 2006 Share Posted August 31, 2006 I personally think the hood scoop from the FC RX-7 Turbo 2 would be the best choice for a scoop on turbo cars. To me it feels like it blends in the most with the rest of how the 80's subarus looked like. I remembe a person on the board with one on a rally RX and it looks quite nice . He never did, and now will probably never own the turbo wagon he wanted this for. Plus, any CF Hood would be too expensive for most of us who paid a few hundred dollars for their car to ever purchase.
