kimokalihi
I've noticed that when I climb into my 90 Legacy Wagon AWD 4EAT each day it runs very rich and a little bit of smoke comes out. But what annoys me is that when you put it in drive or reverse and push the gas in, it nearly dies. And it takes a few seconds to recover. Hasn't died on me yet but I almost want to say it's slowly getting worse. After about 5 seconds it gets up and goes but for the first like 30 seconds to a minute of driving it's laggy on the accelerator and bogs out a bit. Then once it's into closed loop it's fine and has great power and runs like a champ. So maybe this is normal but I don't think so. I think something is wrong and the computer is managing to change the timing and fuel mixture to get the best out of the situation but that's not good enough for me. I got a code about a week ago for 02 sensor. That bothers me because that O2 sensor is only 3 months old and it's a bosch. Cost me like 75 bucks or maybe it was closer to 90. So why would it go out already? The CEL is off now and maybe I'll check the computer again to see if it's still giving the code but I'm convinced that has something to do with it. What should I do?
