This only happens when the engine has been turned off and restarted. Once the car travels for several miles the problem disappears. (I have not noticed the Knocking though) A thread in the achives describes others who have had this problem. But I have never seen or found a solution. One guy (cant remember his name) said that the repair shop had found the problem and he would report back. He never did ! Hope he is reading this!!!
