Sweet82
I've been looking at aggressive 14" tires with a height of around 25-26". The idea is to find a tire that I can run on an unlifted Subie or the Buggy. There is not a lot out there in a 14" size in that range. The problem is no one is manufacturing the small trucks that require them anymore. What I'm finding is the only real sizes available are, 205/75/14 , good aggressive tires in this size but they are relatively TALL for our gears! These will be in the 26" to 27" range. 205/70/14, snow tires are about the only thing available in this size as this is a car tire size. These will measure out in the 25.5 range. The tread depth is not real deep on this size of tire. 195/75/14 , small truck size and a little more selection in aggressive tires. These will also measure out in the 25.5 range and the tread depth is greater. The width is narrower than a 205/70. The only thing I found that I like is the WildCat A/S at Les Schwab for $61 in a 195/75/14. http://www.lesschwab.com/tires/light_truck/wildcat_as.asp Anyone else looked into this? ezapar
Kumho Venture M/T, 27/8.50/14 or a 26.5, whatever. Just what you're looking for. 4 mounted and balanced and taxed and delivered for $401.00 from Discount Tire. They work fine on unlifted rigs. TheSubaruJunkie
I shoulda checked with discount tire... i got mine from Tire Rack. Paid $340 for the set of 4, and $60 for shipping... i assume another $40 for mount and ballance. Althought, my rig is lifted so I dunno how well they'll work on stock subes. -Brian

Phizinza
I love my kumho M/T's... Very hard compound makes for slow wearing. And they grip pretty good. Although unless your in low range they aare pretty annoying on the street...
