txbob Posted July 13, 2006 Share Posted July 13, 2006 hi all, on my 84 gl wagon 1.8 4wd, i just had to have my radiator redone . now i want to drain the block, but can't seem to find both plugs. it does have 2 heads correct? i can find what i think is the starboard (passenger) side plug, but not the port. any help would be helpful---thanx bob Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mikeshoup Posted July 14, 2006 Share Posted July 14, 2006 Passengar side drain is near the front of the head, in front of the exhaust header. Since Subaru used the same heads on both sides, the driver's side is opposite, near the rear of the head, behind the exhaust header. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
