I am looking at slightly higher flow injectors for my EA82T and was wondering, if OEM 275cc side feed fuel injectors for a Nissan 240SX(KA24DE) will work in our engines? Would it require new resistors? If anyone knowledgeable on the subject could please give me some info I'd greatly appreciate it. Oh, and YES, I did use the SEARCH feature before anyone suggests it. So I suppose that I'll just have to strike out and find some 280Z injectors. It'll probably be a heck of alot easier than trying to get the 240SX injectors to fit and work properly. But there is still that part of me that wonders, "What if........." But Thank You though. I do appreciate a push in the right direction. On ebay, if you search for "Nissan 280ZX turbo injector" usually, you'll come up with a couple finds. ONe of them however, sells brand new, set of 6 injectors. A couple months ago, I sent him a message asking him if he would be willing to do sets of 4 since they are a direct swap in for our Subarus. He said he could! Including shipping, I believe they came out to roughly $140 clams for 4 injectors. His ebay name is Dr. Injector. 4WDFrenzy Posted July 19, 2006 Author Share Posted July 19, 2006 Thanks Man!!!!! I really appreciate that info! I'll check into that as he is selling them cheaper than Autozone.com. They are $43 something brand new through Autozone with free shipping because I live at an APO address. But every little bit helps. Besides, I have a turbo upgrade that is more than likely going into the works, so more air being moved will require more fuel. The good part is that I already have a fuel computer that will be going into my GL-10 and also an adjustable FPR that has already been installed on it. So I think with the assistance of a dyno and a good tuner, dialing everything in should be cake. Thank You again my friend!!! skishop69 Posted July 19, 2006 Share Posted July 19, 2006 Yeah, he's a couple of miles or so from me. Great guy. I think he sais he's got something like 10 or 15,000 injectors in stock. He did several bulk buys from places going out of business. The parts room is wall to wall, floor to ceiling with racks of injectors. The audi I once had was equipped with a hitachi maf a hitachi computer and hitachi injectors (oem) some guys went to bosch injectors after a recall or something. I don't want to have to make any custom fuel rails or any of that, much the less have to change the resistor pack. I think I'll just stick with the Nissan injectors.
